Paarth Acharya
From founding a Medical Society to gaining hands‑on surgical experience, Paarth has progressed from Beauchamp City Sixth Form to studying Medicine and exploring advanced healthcare opportunities.Paarth’s ambition to study medicine was clear, and Beauchamp City Sixth Form gave him the support and opportunities to turn that ambition into reality. From tailored guidance to enriching experiences, the school helped him prepare for every stage of the journey.
His favourite subjects—Chemistry, Biology, and Physics—laid the foundation for his medical studies. Physics, in particular, surprised him by appearing more often in his degree than he expected, proving how valuable those lessons were.
During Sixth Form, Paarth made the most of every opportunity: careers days, after-school talks, and mock MMI interview sessions. He even founded a Medical Society, creating a space for students to share ideas and network with others interested in healthcare. The school supported him throughout the application process, providing resources and space for online interviews when needed.
Since leaving Sixth Form, Paarth has progressed to studying Medicine and has already gained remarkable experience. He arranged a placement in Bristol, where he assisted a neurosurgeon in surgery as a first-year medical student. He has mentored prospective medical students across the country, explored medical technology—including visiting a VR suite in Nottingham—and presented at a national conference on 360° quality improvement videos.
Paarth’s journey reflects ambition, initiative, and a passion for learning. The experiences and encouragement Paarth received at Beauchamp City Sixth Form didn’t just prepare him for medical school—they sparked the confidence to lead, innovate, and seize opportunities that continue to shape his future in medicine.
