Muhammed Daud

At Beauchamp City Sixth Form (BCSF), we are incredibly proud of our alumni, and Muhammad's story is a testament to the lasting impact of our educational environment. His journey from student to nuclear degree apprentice at Rolls-Royce SMR is a great example of dedication, passion, and achievement.

Muhammad's academic journey began at BCSF, where he had a fantastic experience. He fondly recalls,

"I really enjoyed BCSF and had lots of fun. It introduced me to the idea of gap years and degree apprenticeships."

The supportive environment and encouragement from his teachers played a crucial role in nurturing his interests and guiding him towards his future career. Muhammad enjoyed all his subjects at BCSF, with a particular passion for Psychology and Maths. These subjects sparked his curiosity and problem-solving skills, which are essential in his current role.

"I do feel my current job reflects that," he notes, highlighting the strong foundation BCSF provided.

After finishing from BCSF, Muhammad received an offer to study Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Science in University, however he decided to go down the route of a degree apprenticeship.

Currently, Muhammad is a nuclear degree apprentice at Rolls-Royce SMR, part of the first intake of apprentices at the company. He describes his experience as "really interesting and definitely an eye-opening experience." Much like his time at BCSF, Muhammad is pioneering new paths and embracing unique opportunities.

Muhammad's journey from Beauchamp City Sixth Form to Rolls-Royce SMR is a testament to his resilience and dedication. His story serves as an inspiration to current and prospective students, demonstrating that with hard work, passion, and the right support, anything is possible.
