Jasmine’s Academic Journey at Beauchamp City Sixth Form

After completing her GCSEs at Sir Jonathan North Girls’ College, Jasmine chose to continue her education within the Lionheart Educational Trust by joining Beauchamp City Sixth Form. This decision provided her with continuity in values, high standards, and a familiar culture of support.

At Beauchamp City, Jasmine studied English Literature, Sociology, and Biology at A-Level. She quickly adapted to the academic demands of sixth form and benefited from a strong support system that addressed both her learning and wellbeing needs. Jasmine shared:
“My transition to sixth form came with several learning points, such as adapting from a single-sex school and adjusting my learning strategies for A-Level study.”

The Sixth Form’s student support services played a key role in helping Jasmine manage workload and stress, particularly during exam periods. She also took advantage of extracurricular opportunities that enriched her experience and strengthened her university application—ultimately securing a place at UCL.

Jasmine credits Beauchamp City with giving her the confidence, resources, and guidance to aim high and succeed. Her story reflects the Sixth Form’s commitment to nurturing ambition and supporting students to reach their full potential.
